    Wies\u0142aw Ma\u0142ucha - composer - is a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin P.SZ.M. in Nowy S\u0105cz in the piano class and the Faculty of Law at the University of Wroc\u0142aw. He graduated from the Academy of Engineering and holds the rank of captain in the Polish Army. From 1989 to 1990 he was director of the Wroc\u0142aw branch of the Polish Jazz Association. Since 1990 he has been running his own business in the catering and entertainment industry.<\/p>

    Since 2013, he has been a founder and board member of the \"Foundation for Cultural Development in Wroc\u0142aw\", which has developed and implements projects such as: \"Music of Wroc\u0142aw\", \"Relaxing Journeys of the Explorer Musician\" and \"Wroc\u0142aw - Capital of Music\".<\/p>

    He is the initiator and co-founder in 2018 of the University Philharmonic in Wroc\u0142aw, where he serves as programme director. For his cultural activities in the region, he was awarded the silver badge \"Meritorious for Lower Silesia\" by the Lower Silesian Regional Self-Government Assembly, from which the University Philharmonic in Wroc\u0142aw received the \"Silesia 2023\" culture award in 2023.<\/p>

    In 2024, he initiated the creation of the Lower Silesian Opera, where he serves as director and programme director.<\/p>

    He is a member of the Society of Lovers of Wroc\u0142aw. In 2022, he received a special award on the occasion of the Society's 65th anniversary.<\/p>

    He is a member of Lions Club International and has been awarded the 2019 Melvin Jones Scholarship and the 2022 'Amber Rose' for his cultural and social activities.<\/p>

    In 2012, Wies\u0142aw Ma\u0142ucha was voted by radio listeners and Internet users as the winner of the first edition of the \"Piece of Wroc\u0142aw\" competition for his song \"Pokochaj Wroc\u0142aw\" with his own music and lyrics.<\/p>

    In 2022, he was the winner of the international composition competition of the Vienna Academy of Classical Music 'Autumn - 2022'.<\/p>

    His music refers to a certain extent to classical music, is characterised by a wealth of original melodic ideas and interesting arrangement solutions, which, combined with pure and natural harmony and the warm timbre of the instruments, allow the listener to fully calm down and participate in a musical journey into unknown corners. This music can be confidently classified as healing to both body and soul, as confirmed by the numerous opinions of its listeners.<\/p>

    Wies\u0142aw Ma\u0142ucha's compositions have already been performed in Wroc\u0142aw at, among other venues, the NFM, the Radio Wroc\u0142aw Concert Hall, the Concert Hall of the Academy of Music in Wroc\u0142aw, the Oratorium Marianum Auditorium, the Church of St Dorothy, Wac\u0142aw and Stanis\u0142aw, the White Stork Synagogue, the Music and Literature Club and the Garrison Club. Outside Wroc\u0142aw - at the Lower Silesian, Zielona G\u00f3ra and Kaliska Philharmonics, the University of Pozna\u0144, Legnica Cathedral, the Garrison Church in Jelenia G\u00f3ra, the Basilica in Wambierzyce, the Church in Wielka Lipa, as well as palaces: Stanisz\u00f3w, Pakosz\u00f3w, Wojan\u00f3w and the Korzkiew castle near Krak\u00f3w.<\/p>

    Pianist, winner of many international competitions, including the 8th Stockholm International Music Competition (2021). She holds a master's degree from the Belarusian State Music Academy in solo piano, chamber music and pedagogy. She worked for 20 years at the String Instruments Department and 2 years at the Chamber Music Department of the Belarusian State Music Academy. Students in her class have repeatedly become winners of international competitions. She has written transcriptions of instrumental and vocal music. At concerts in particular, you will hear works in her original arrangements. She is actively involved in teaching and concert activities. As a performer and presenter, she has realised over 100 projects. Together with her colleagues, she founded the Alba Music Trio ensemble in Wroc\u0142aw.
